Affiliate Guide — How It Works
Welcome to the SwiftSoftware Affiliate Program
FunnelSwift is the hub for the SwiftSoftware affiliate program. When you refer someone who signs up for any SwiftSoftware product, you earn commission once they upgrade to a paid plan.
You get one affiliate account, tied to your own account. There is no downline and no recruiting — this is not network marketing. You promote products directly, and you are paid directly.
How You Join
- From the banner — if you are not yet an affiliate, a banner appears at the top of your dashboard. Click Sign up as an affiliate. You can dismiss the banner with the ✕, and it will return the next time you log in until you join.
- From the Affiliate tab — open My Affiliate in the sidebar. Before you join it explains what the program is; after you join it becomes your product picker.
- Added by an admin — an admin can create your affiliate account for you.
One account per customer. If you already have one, joining again simply returns it rather than creating a second.
Choosing What You Promote
Open My Affiliate and tick the products you want to promote. Each product shows:
- The product — what you are promoting
- The plan the customer gets — always a free plan. You are never handing out a paid product; the customer upgrades in app and pays for it themselves, and that is what pays you.
- Your rate — the percentage you earn
- Its tag — the tag is what actually credits you when someone signs up through your link. A product with no tag cannot be credited, and the screen says so.
Products You Can Earn On
Your affiliate link works across all SwiftSoftware services:
- FunnelSwift — Lead capture, web-to-lead, landing pages, checkout
- ADA Swift — Accessibility compliance widgets and scanning
- MissedCall Respondr — Auto-reply to missed calls via SMS
- WorkflowSwift — Visual workflow automation with n8n
- IncentiveSwift — Viral campaigns and loyalty rewards
- CoreSwift CRM — Pipeline and deal management
- MultiDirectory — Multi-tenant directory SaaS
The Flow
- You share your affiliate link with potential customers
- They click and land on the relevant product's signup page
- They sign up free — name and email only. The system generates their password and emails it to them, and tags them as your referral
- They upgrade to a paid plan — either inside the software or through your link. That is the moment you earn
Nothing is earned on a free plan. A referral only pays once they become a paying customer, and the credit stays with you from the referral onwards.
How Tracking Works
When someone clicks your link and creates an account, they are tagged as your referral. From that point:
- The system knows they came from you, and keeps knowing it — including after they upgrade. There is no cookie to expire and nothing to re-click.
- Every upgrade they make is attributed to you, and the day it happened is recorded.
- Commissions are tracked per transaction, with the rate that was used and the reason it was used, so a payment can always be explained later.
Seeing Who You Referred, and When They Moved
Your Dashboard and Earnings pages list every person you referred, and for each one:
- the plan they are on now — so you can see who is paying and who has not started yet
- the date of their last movement: "Upgraded 3 Oct 2026" or "Downgraded 11 Nov 2026"
- what that person has earned you so far
An upgrade credits you on the day it happens. If a customer later downgrades, the commission stops and the date it stopped is recorded on the same row — you are never left guessing why a number changed. If they upgrade again months later, you are credited again, as a new dated entry.
Money is shown in three separate figures, because they mean different things:
- Earned — customers who are paying now
- Pending — referred, but still on a free plan, so nothing has been earned yet
- Reversed — customers who left a paying plan, so the commission stopped
What Rate You Earn
Your rate is worked out in one consistent order. The first rule that applies wins:
- A personal rate set for you — if an admin gives you your own override, it beats everything
- The product's group rate — when several products share one rate
- The product's own rate — set on that specific product
- Your standing rate — from your plan, when nothing more specific applies
- The plan's rate — the default for your plan
- A standard fallback if nothing else is configured
Your Rate Rises Automatically
You do not have to ask for a better rate. Two things raise it by themselves, and you can see
which one you are on, and why, in your affiliate dashboard:
- How many customers you have brought. Bring 10 paying customers and your
rate goes up; bring 25 and it goes up again.
- Whether your customers take up more than one app. If the customers you
refer to more than one SwiftSoftware product, you earn a higher rate than an affiliate with the
same number of single-app customers. Promoting a second product to a customer who already
trusts you is worth more to us, and we pay for it.
Changes only ever apply to future commissions. When your rate rises, work you
have already been paid for is not recalculated, in either direction — a promotion cannot
reduce what you have already earned.
Your current rate, the reason for it, and the threshold for the next one are shown in your
dashboard. The exact percentages and thresholds are set by the programme and can change; the
numbers above are what is in force now.
Your Password
When your account was created, the system generated a password and emailed it to you. You do not have to keep it — change it any time in your profile, and use that from then on.
Tips for Success
- Know the products — understand what each SwiftSoftware product does so you can match it to your audience
- Target businesses that need automation — agencies, local services, marketing teams, SaaS founders
- Share your link everywhere — website footer, email signature, social bio, YouTube descriptions
- Create content — tutorials, reviews, or case studies about the tools you're promoting
